Este tipo de correspondencia no solicitada solía arrojarlas sin leer a la papelera.
Desde hace unos años me llegan a mis cuentas de correo electrónico regularmente unas extrañas cartas de gente que no conozco, ofreciéndome ganar dinero a cambio de que me encargue de administrar las fortunas que les legaron sus padres o familiares muertos.
Usualmente cuentan aterradoras y patéticas historias de exilio, golpes, secuestros y crueles asesinatos a manos de parientes codiciosos.
Dicen algunos que son estafas.
Una vez respondí a una de estas cartas, y me llegó un e-mail con más datos sobre cómo sacar el dinero de algún país remoto. Pero interrumpí la comunicación, porque no me pude imaginar en alguna ciudad perdida en África en conciliábulos con una mujer joven que, además de darme todo ese dinero, quería ser mi esposa y que le sacara los papeles de residencia en mi país.
Todas esas cartas han ido a parar a la papelera. Ahora lo lamento, porque he descubierto que, en realidad, esas cartas son geniales fragmentos de literatura no solicitada, escritas por patéticos pero atractivos escribidores desquiciados que me entretienen sin que yo lo solicite. Y me hacen reír a montones.
También han empezado a llegar cartas de damiselas africanas y árabes que quieren tener sexo conmigo.
En lugar de echarlas a la papelera, he decidido abrir este blog para compartirlas con otros que quizás también las reciben en sus cuentas.
Me encantaría que me enviaran esas cartas, para subirlas también aquí.
Algunas de las cartas que subiré aquí no están escritas en un español muy pulcro, y otras ni siquiera en español. Las corregiré ligeramente para facilitar su comprensión. Esas imperfecciones en la lengua, si acaso lo son, sin embargo me agradan: son a la escritura lo que la pimienta para la cocina.

En otra página hallé otra foto de ella, y descubrí que tiene 21 amigos. En un ‘journal', le respondieron: "Miss Rena Monibar Greetings in the name of our Lord Almighty".
En una página de chicas que buscan novio, la colocan viviendo en Estados Unidos.
Tal parece que la chiquilla todavía no encuentra uno.
